In spite of posing up there in front of all those books, I'm no scholar. But I do love to read and study the Word of God, the Bible. I really believe that the God who created and sustains the whole universe loved us enough to give us an "owner's manual" for living in this world ... and that owner's manual is the Bible. After more than 30 years of using it to instruct, inspire and generally guide my life, guess what I've discovered? HEY -- it works!!!!

So, that's the first thing I want you to know about me -- I am a Christian -- a follower of Jesus Christ. And that's why I write what I write. I love waking up each day and looking for "God things" in the everyday stuff of life. I'm never disappointed, often inspired, and always blessed to be able to capture those "God things" in print.
